Subtle sound energy flows through our bodies mind and soul-nourishing our consciousness.

BRAINwave resonance and nervous system relaxation

This session is designed for those who carry tension in the neck, shoulders, and head—often from stress, screen time, or the demands of daily life.

If you experience mental fog, forgetfulness, or find it hard to fully relax, this work may help support a sense of clarity and ease.

Using specific tuning fork frequencies, they may assist the body gently toward a more balanced state. As the brain relaxes, the nervous system can begin to settle, allowing for a deeper sense of calm and reset.

This session is designed for those seeking to support overall balance, grounding, and energetic harmony throughout the body. Inspired by the body’s natural rhythms, meridian pathways, and energetic systems, the session uses sound and vibration to encourage deep relaxation and flow. Our organs-glands-bones etc all have a resonating home frequency. When These frequencies all play together, like an orchestra, in harmony we are said to be in homeostasis, or balanced health.

whole body sound integration

This session is designed for those with tight muscles, stiffness and inflammation. You may experience relief from pain and inflammation as the tuning forks assist the body to break up the inflammation, bring in oxygen, energy flow in a gentle way. When the weighted forks are skillfully applied, the gentle vibrational frequencies assist the body to return to harmony. Harmonic sounds are not only heard by the ears, but by the skin and bones, so the whole body is able to hear. Bone is a conductor of sound and amplifies sound, helping to resonate a frequency.

If lymphatic flow is something you are seeking, this session incorporates non-contact tuning fork techniques above the body inspired by energetic lymphatic flow intentions/concepts to assist the body for overall energetic movement and balance.

What clients are saying about their sessions~

Amanda has been providing sound therapy for me over the past couple of years. I have arthritis and after receiving bodywork sound sessions I felt immediate relief from my pain. I even noticed my usual neck pain has been gone since she has worked on me. I can actually turn my head. She also balanced my body and we worked on emotional aspects that were very helpful. I was unsure in the beginning of what to expect but the results are amazing and I would highly recommend sound therapy with Amanda. She is intuitive and I appreciate her gifts she utilized during sessions.

I have low back and hip pain most days. I decided to try the sound healing with Amanda and after the first session my hip pain went away for a couple of weeks. This was helpful since I have a desk job and sit for several hours a day at work. I couldn’t believe how long the relief lasted.

Jared

I slept almost 9 hours the evening after my first session which is unheard of for me. It’s typically 1-2 so my body definitely needed this sound healing.

Tracy

I have been dealing with a lot of emotional turmoil lately. Amanda has opened up some things for me during the sound session as she worked on balancing my body systems. I have never had sound before and am very sensitive, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I am so thankful for the session. I felt great afterwards.

Cynthia

I was able to relax so much that I felt myself drift into the Delta state of consciousness.

The Science of Sound:

Physiological Benefits

Acoustic resonance directly tones the vagus nerve, gently shifting the body out of a sympathetic “fight-or-flight” state and activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This natural relaxation response effectively lowers blood pressure, reduces heart rate, and mitigates chronic stress.

Endocrine support & Sleep optimization

Intentional sound meditation stimulates the pineal gland, helping to regulate the body’s natural circadian rhythms. By lowering systemic cortisol and encouraging healthy melatonin production, sessions promote deeper, more restorative sleep cycles and lasting rhythmic balance.

Cognitive Decompression & Anxiety Relief

The frequencies of sound encourage brainwave entrainment, slowing active waking mind states down into deeply restorative alpha and theta patterns. This process assists with quieting neural hyperactivity, acute anxiety, circular thinking and mental fatigue.

The Vagus Nerve: What It Is?

‍ ‍Systems need good command centers to be successful. The human nervous system is no different. The vagus nerve significantly impacts a wide range of bodily functions. But this nerve can become damaged when we experience a prolonged period of physical or mental stress.
Comprised of over 100 billion nerves, the human nervous system relays information from the brain to the body and back. Its critically important command center, which facilitates bidirectional communication between the body and brain, is called the vagus nerve. Yet most of us have never even heard of it. The vagus nerve plays an essential role in communicating between your brain, gut, and other vital systems in the body. This wandering nerve may not be so well-known, but as your “second brain,” it has a big impact on how your body functions.

Inspired by my current reading:

— Veronica Lynn Clark, To Be Aligned: Getting Clear on Your Higher Purpose

I share this as inspiration….

I love the metaphor she talks about in her book in the section that relays that most of us were never taught how to relate to our emotions in a way that is healthy, honest and freeing. She goes on to say what many of us may have been taught; suppress, perform, drown, intellectualize, be consumed by. The metaphor- Dryer vent; our nervous system is the vent, our emotions are the air moving through the vent (unprocessed experiences, unfinished grief, unspoken anger, unmet needs, old survival strategies), these emotions are the lint. She goes on to say that when the vent is clear, air moves easily, when vent is clogged with lint, the air can’t move, the system overheats, backs up and everything stops working as designed. The work is not to get rid of the emotion but to let the emotion move. My favorite part within this is where she goes on to say when grief is allowed to be felt, it softens and teaches, when anger is listened to, it clarifies boundaries and self-respect, when fear is met with emotional awareness, it becomes information instead of a prison. I can relate in my own life how experiences have caused my energy to become stagnate and cause issues. During my studies of sound healing and using the protocols of sound on myself, the soothing harmonics assisted my whole being to learn how to stay present with my emotional life without collapsing into it or running from it like It had so many times before. It brings awareness to my body, mind and soul and feels so soothing. I am a forever student seeking, learning and applying the knowledge. I love to start my day with reading, journaling, and meditation. My passion is to share the benefits these healing, soothing sounds with others.

Amanda Burwell, Tuning Fork Sound Specialist

Reiki level 1 Practitioner

“When we experience a loss, have an emotional upset or not taking care of our bodies with good nutrition, the physical or etheric body can lose their tune. This can put the body into disharmony or a lower vibrational frequency.”  Eileen McKusick

I have worked as an administrator in the alternative health field since 1999, often feeling a deeper calling to be more directly involved in the healing process.

In 2020, Losing my brother to suicide marked the beginning of my healing journey. During that time, I experienced a sound/Reiki session that assisted me in reconnection with my body after the shock of grief.

I was deeply moved by the body’s response to tuning fork sound therapy and felt called to learn more. What began as personal healing soon became a sense of purpose—to share this work with others.

I began my studies with a wonderful teacher, Rowena, with Harmonic Sounds for Healing. The Globe Institute of Sound & Consciousness and the work of John Beaulieu inspired Rowena’s teachings. Since I began working with the tuning forks, I’ve noticed both personally and with clients a meaningful shift in relaxation, awareness, and overall quality of life. I remain committed to being a forever student so I can hold a grounded, supportive space for those I work with. I have recently completed Reiki 1 certification through Kristina Ganter. I am committed to ongoing education and am currently pursuing Reiki Level 2 training to further deepen my practice.
